The Mixed Blessing of Being a Gifted Adult

Please join us for a Cafe for Gifted Adults moderated by world-renowned author and speaker Noks Nauta, MD, PhD, co-founder of the Gifted Adults foundation in the Netherlands and Lisa Erickson, MS, LMHC, Psychotherapist, and graduate educator. Dr. Nauta and Ms. Erickson are coming to Chicago to present at the 34th SENG conference and will moderate this workshop at Dominican University in River Forest. The cafe is open to anyone interested. Topics include the following:

  • What is giftedness?
  • The gifted child who is now an adult
  • Discovering giftedness later in life
  • Feeling different, thinking differently, communicating differently
  • Loneliness
  • Becoming a happier person
  • Positive ways to embrace your giftedness
